Richmond Ballet presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Shakespeare’s popular tale is brought to life in this unique collaboration between Richmond Ballet, the Richmond Symphony and Chorus, and professional narrators. A wonderful addition to any study of Shakespeare, this enduring comedy illustrates themes of love, appearance vs. reality, and order vs. disorder. Felix Mendelssohn’s sparkling score and William Soleau’s classic and playful choreography take the audience on a journey to the regal palace of Theseus and Hippolyta and through the mystical, woodland court of Titania and Oberon.
