Gloria (Spaight/ Vivaldi)
A beautiful dance interpretation of Vivaldi’s Gloria, last seen in Richmond in 1992. Spaight’s sensitive choreography invokes the passion, joy, and spirituality of this glorious music through a series of intricate ensembles, intimate duets, and exquisite solos.
Journey (Aiello/ Arnold)
Journey pays tribute to the strength, vitality, and physical virtuosity of the male dancer. Choreographed in 1979, Aiello’s ballet abstractly suggests travel by land, sea, and sky.
Silence (Patterson/ Pärt)
Silence, inspired by the music by Arvo Pärt, evokes a sense of space and timelessness. “…it is about finding peace within the stillness, the silence when we find ourselves alone in a quiet moment, in the dark of night, or on a walk with miles in front of us to conquer.” (Gina Patterson)
