Professional Company

Contracts: 35 – 38 weeks, competitive salaries
Dancers interested in auditioning for the professional company must contact the company manager and pre-submit a résumé to schedule an audition. Only dancers of soloist level will be considered for company positions.

Richmond Ballet II

Women: 5’4” – 5’7” Men: 5’10” – 6’3”
Contracts: 32 – 35 weeks, competitive salaries
Dancers interested in auditioning for the Richmond Ballet second performing company must be between the ages of 18 – 22 and must attend one of the auditions listed.

Audition Fee $35 (CASH ONLY). Bring a photo of first arabesque profile (ladies en pointe) to the audition. A résumé is also required for Richmond Ballet II auditions.

Trainee

Judy Jacob, Artistic Associate & School Director
To be considered for the Trainee Program, dancers must attend the Summer Intensive Program to learn repertory. The Summer Intensive Program (ages 12 – 22) includes ballet, pointe, partnering, variations, men’s technique, jazz, modern, character dance, enrichment courses, and a performance opportunity.

Audition Fee $35 (CASH ONLY). Bring a photo of first arabesque profile (ladies en pointe) to the audition. A résumé is also required for Trainee Program auditions.

Summer Intensive

Summer Intensive: June 24 – July 27, 2019
The Summer Intensive Program (ages 12 – 21) includes ballet, pointe, partnering, variations, men’s technique, jazz, modern, character dance, enrichment courses and performance opportunities.

Video Audition:

Only Summer Intensive Program applicants may submit a video audition. DVD should be no more than 10 minutes in length. Please include video audition form, photos, and $35 video audition fee with DVD. Video Audition Information
