Seeking the Sacred in Dance Returns April 24

January 20th, 2014

Chrysalis Logo“The creative urge is the demon that will not accept anything second rate. Dance may well be the awesome holy act of perfection. We are each born with a body and a soul and we spend our lives perfecting our instruments – whatever they may be for each of us.”                                                                                                                                                         – Agnes de Mille

Join Richmond Ballet Artistic Director Stoner Winslett and Artistic Associate and Ballet Master Malcolm Burn for a conversation exploring the sacred in dance, January 29th at 7 pm, at Richmond Ballet.

From the Chrysalis Institute:

See for yourself “the awesome holy act” of perfecting in the journey from Minds In Motion students, to The School of Richmond Ballet dancers, to professional company members. We are inexplicably drawn to the rhythms of our souls through movement. Come explore the sacredness unique to dance!
