Youth Performances

What’s in a dance . . . ?

Richmond Ballet invites middle and high school teachers to bring their students to the historic Carpenter Theatre in downtown Richmond. Experience Shakespeare from a new perspective by joining us for an open dress rehearsal of Romeo & Juliet. See this literary classic come to life through dance, accompanied by Richmond Symphony playing Prokofiev’s powerful and evocative score. From first meeting to final parting, Romeo & Juliet is Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it.
