Three and Four Year olds:

The School of Richmond Ballet Invitation to the Dance program for three and four years old will introduce your child to ballet through movement and music. Your child’s natural love of dancing will be enhanced through body awareness, listening skills, and rhythm in a structured yet imaginative environment.


Five, Six, and Seven Year Olds:

The School of Richmond Ballet takes students from the classroom to the theater for a ballet adventure designed especially for five, six, and seven year olds.  each week students enjoy a variety of activities which include the ballet syllabus and learning about the story, music, and costumes of the great ballets.

Invitation to the Dance: Summer Experience      

July 28-August 1, 2008

Designed for Ages 6 and 7
(Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet Levels)

Monday-Friday, 9:00 am- 12:00 Noon

 Come and join us for an exciting New Summer Experience!  This week-long day camp features classes in age appropriate ballet technique;     emphasizing creativity, coordination, flexibility, and strength.  Students will also investigate and experience all facets of the art of Ballet, learning about the story, music, costumes, and scenery of a ballet.   The week will culminate in an informal showing for parents.

Both boys and girls are welcome in this special summer dance activity.  Students from other dance schools are welcome.
