Clara and the Nutcracker Prince in their journey through the magical land of
dreams! As the Silberhaus family Christmas tree grows, toys come to life and
swirling snowflakes give way to delectable confections. The whole family is
sure to be entertained by mischievous marzipan lambs, chocolate that dances
with a Spanish flair and tea that takes the form of a 50-foot Chinese dragon.
This season, Richmond
Ballet’s production of E.T.A Hoffmann’s time-honored
holiday treat will make the anticipated return to the newly renovated Carpenter
Theatre at Richmond CenterStage. With Tchaikovsky’s lively score
performed by Richmond Symphony, The
Nutcracker will
sweep you into the land of enchantment and is sure to leave you with
“visions of sugarplums” long after the curtain
falls.
Join Clara and her friends for a special new event after select matinee performances of The Nutcracker! Set in CenterStage’s festive Rhythm Hall, guests will enjoy meeting their favorite characters from the Kingdom of Sweets along with an elegant seated tea accompanied by live piano. This intimate family event is an experience not to be missed.
