“Visions of sugarplums” and so much more! In the magical land of Clara’s dreams, marzipan sheep graze, chocolate dances with a Spanish flair and tea takes the form of a Chinese dragon. The young and young at heart will marvel as the Silberhaus family Christmas tree grows and the toys beneath it help Clara and her Nutcracker Prince battle the Mouse King. After an entourage of graceful snowflakes escorts them to the Kingdom of Sweets, enjoy a banquet of dance to Tchaikovsky’s familiar score, performed live by the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Share The Nutcracker with the entire family and sweeten your dreams with Richmond’s favorite holiday tradition. After the show, top it off with a treat-filled Sweets Party and meet the Sugarplum Fairy and her friends!

After a matinee performance of The Nutcracker, join us in the Landmark Theater ballroom for a special reception with the Sugarplum Fairy, Clara, and their friends. Enjoy tasty treats, meet the performers, and snap photos with your favorite characters. It's a festive grand finale to an afternoon at the theater. $10
