Celebrate the “Tradition of the Derby” at
Richmond Ballet’s 15th Annual Kentucky Derby Day Party!

One of Richmond Ballet’s most festive occasions, the Kentucky Derby Day Party, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, a few feet from the banks of the James River in the Village at Rockett’s Landing. The Ballet welcomes guests to kick back, sip mint juleps and enjoy the on the big screen from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will also be an opportunity to win marvelous prizes and items from the silent auction and raffle.  A delicious gourmet dinner will be prepared by Chef David Napier of David’s White House Catering, followed by an evening of dancing to the soulful tunes provided by Groove Spot.

And, of course, all of the fun and excitement goes toward a good cause — supporting Richmond Ballet’s mission “to awaken and uplift the human spirit, both for audiences and dancers.” The ticket price is $80, which includes all drinks and dinner.
