2017 Culminating Performance

Return to the River

Join our Minds In Motion students for their culminating performance, Return to the River, created in partnership with the Rappahannock Tribe of Virginia. Over the past year, students have been learning about the history, culture, and present-day values of the Rappahannock Tribe as they rehearse steps and choreography for their performance.  Come learn from our students about the rich culture of the Rappahannock Indians and how their community thrives by preserving their traditions and tribal values. Featuring over 1600 students from 24 schools across Virginia, this free, public performance is not to be missed!
