Inspiration is a funny thing–one can find it in the oddest places. Take yesterday, for example–I was at the Carpenter Theatre for the symphony’s opening night concert, and out of nowhere I got super-excited for this week. Now, one could argue that classical music is inspiring all by itself, and I would agree. Darrell Grand Moultrie to create a world premiere “live dance documentary” as spoken-word dancer interviews take center stage alongside Swipe Two contemporary ballets are set to open the 2014-15 season for Richmond Ballet, as Studio One features the world premiere of iNVERSION, a multimedia dance work from New York-based choreographer Darrell Grand Moultrie and the return of Val Caniparoli’s highly successful Swipe, originally commissioned by Richmond Ballet in 2011. Four RBII Members to Join the Professional Company

COMPANY PROMOTIONS FOR THE  2014-15 SEASON Richmond Ballet is pleased to announce that four Richmond Ballet II (RBII) members have been invited to join the professional company for the 2014-15 season.
