RICHMOND BALLET II TO MAKE WOLF TRAP DEBUT Company Set to Perform at Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods at Prestigious Outdoor Venue Richmond Ballet II (RBII), the second company for Richmond Ballet, The State Ballet of Virginia, is set to make its Wolf Trap debut, performing at the outdoor, Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, June 25 and 26, 2014. Behind The Scenes with Ma Cong: “Lift The Fallen”

Chinese-born choreographer Ma Cong returned to Richmond for two weeks in April to begin work on his new ballet, Lift The Fallen. Within that short period, the Richmond Ballet dancers learned the entirety of the new work, setting the stage for a brilliant Studio Three. William Hancock Joins Richmond Ballet as Director of Advancement

Former Board President and Richmond-native returns to The State Ballet of Virginia Richmond, VA – Richmond Ballet is pleased to announce that William G. Hancock, a former business lawyer at Troutman Sanders and former President of the Richmond Ballet Board of Trustees, has re-joined Richmond Ballet as the Director of Advancement.
